MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER
GIVE CONGRATULATIONS
TO EMPLOYEES FOR A
JOB WELL DONE!

From Jim Dailey to all our incredible staff:

I have never been more proud of our city and our 2000 city staff members than this past month.  You have truly raised the bar of service to others and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.  The Clinton Library and Park opening was one of the most important events in the history of Little Rock and you have pulled it off with skill, professionalism, hard work and a winning attitude. I heard this every day from Little Rock citizens as well as countless visitors from all over the globe.

We have a signature opportunity to continue the momentum and to build a better Little Rock for today and for tomorrow.  Thank you, thank you, thank you…. YOU ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST.

Jim Dailey
Mayor

To all City Employees:

Thank you very much for a tremendous week in our city during the opening of the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Center and Park.  Each department played a significant role in the preparation process and we should all be proud of Little Rock .  It is truly an honor to work with each of you.

Bruce Moore
City Manager

SAVE TAX DOLLARS ENROLL NOW
FOR FLEXIBLE SPENDING

DataPath Administrative Services, Inc. is an employee benefit delivery organization that works to provide the most efficient and effective benefit package possible for flexible spending reimbursements.  Flexible spending accounts are used to pay for expenses that are not covered by insurance and day care expensses.  For example, your insurance may not cover co-payments, glasses, orthodontics, or prescription drugs, just to name a few.  If you are certain you are going to have these expenses in the coming year, you can have DataPath deduct a designated amount from your paycheck that will not be taxed.  When the expenses are incurred, you file with Datapath for reimbursement.

Representatives from Datapath will be available to discuss setting up a flexible spending account for you until December 10.  They are located in the Human Resources Conference Room in the basement of the West Wing.  Actual enrollment will continue through December 17.

Employees currently participating in this program must RE-enroll for next year, complete a new enrollment form, and designate a new per pay period dollar amount of deduction.

Reimbursements for claims made before December 31, 2004, for flexible spending account expenses can be processed through March 31, 2005.  If you need reimbursement forms, please call HR-Benefits at 371-4518.
