Solutions
for a Better Community
Overview
& Mission Statement
Community Programs
emerged from Future Little Rock to address quality of life issues
and to provide a greater array of services needed and desired by
citizens. Authorized by the City Board in 1996, Community Programs
strive to improve the quality of life for Little Rock citizens by
administering programs that provide education, training, prevention,
intervention, treatment, and supportive services in a cost effective,
measurable manner. With community support, funds were appropriated
for various initiatives. These initiatives are Workforce Development,
Prevention, Intervention, and Treatment, and the ATOD Initiative.
