Advertising and Promotion
Commission
The Little Rock Advertising and Promotion Commission was created by Arkansas Code Annotated and Little Rock City Code 17-100 (Realignment Ordinance 16-4880-9/7/93). Each of the commission's seven members serve four-year terms. The duties of the commission are to oversee the operations of the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau, which includes Robinson Center, Statehouse Convention Center, University Conference Center and the Municipal Parking Garage. Members are appointed by the City Board of Directors and consist of the Mayor or his or her appointee, two Little Rock City Board members and four members who are owners of hotels, motels or restaurants.
The Advertising and Promotion Commission meets the Third Wednesday of each month at noon in the Robinson Center Conference Room.

Ambulance
Authority
The Ambulance Authority (Emergency Medical Health Care Facilities Board) was created by Arkansas Code Annotated 14-137-108 and Little Rock City Code 5-26 et seq. - Ordinance #14,062. Each of the Authority's eight members serve five-year terms. Five members are from Little Rock , two from North Little Rock and one from Pulaski County . The duties of the authority are to perform duties and responsibilities consistent with the Arkansas Municipal Ambulance Licensing Act.
The Ambulance Authority meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:30 a.m. in the MEMS office at 1101 W. 8th Street.

Americans with Disabilities Act Citizen’s
Grievance Committee
Ordinance No. 17,283, passed by the Board of Directors, October 1, 1995 created this Committee. The Committee hears citizen complaints alleging discrimination, by reason of disability, in programs or activities sponsored by the City. This Committee is composed of five members, including two individuals with disabilities, two service providers with knowledge of technology affecting the disabled, and one architect.
Fourth Wednesday of each month, at 4:00 pm.

Animal Services Advisory Board
The Animal Services Advisory Board, created in October 2000 by Ordinance 10,906, to review and recommend changes to the city’s current animal ordinance. To review other recommended topics that concern the care of and safety of animals within the corporate limits of the City.
Meetings are held every 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:00 P.M. - Tyler Street Alert Center; 2106 S. Tyler Street.

Arkansas Museum of Discovery Board of Trustees
The Arkansas Museum of Discovery Board of Trustees was created by Code of Ordinances Section 22-136 - Ordinance #14,468. Each of the Commission's nine to thirty members serve three-year terms. The Board of Trustees serves in an advisory capacity to the staff of the Museum of Discovery and to the Parks and Recreation Department. The Board also assists and raises funds for the Museum's operation. Trustees are selected by a nominating committee, subject to approval by the Little Rock Board of Directors.
The Arkansas Museum of Discovery Board of Trustees meets quarterly at noon at the Museum of Discovery in Little Rock.
