Risk Management and Safety
We acknowledge an obligation to provide safe working conditions for employees and a safe leisure environment for the public use of our programs, facilities and parks. It is the intention of Little Rock Parks and Recreation to develop,
implement and administer a safety and comprehensive loss control program. In all or our assignments, the health and safety of all should be an important consideration.
Personnel at all levels are directed to make safety a matter of continuing concern. Each supervisor ensures that work is done in a safe manner, inspections are conducted on a regular basis, hazards are confronted, and accidents are
investigated. Each citizen can make a significant contribution to the overall safety of our parks and facilities by notifying the Little Rock Parks and Recreation Department, by letter, phone, fax or email if you have a safety concern or if you observe an unsafe condition.
