Rental of Parks and Recreation Facilities

Pavilions Available for Rental

MacArthur Park, 9th and McAlmont
This historic downtown park, the city's oldest municipal park, houses the Arkansas Arts Center as well as the last remaining structure from the US Army Arsenal built in 1841. Outdoor facilities include brick promenades, a gazebo, a lakeside pavilion available for rental, a boccie court, a playground, and the scenic Contemplation Gardens.

Riverfront Park, LaHarpe Boulevard
Located along the south bank of the Arkansas River in downtown Little Rock, Riverfront Park stretches eleven blocks and provides large areas for outdoor events, leisure activities, and a glimpse of the state's history. The Belvedere Pavilion and the Sunken Patio area are available for rental. Riverfront Park is also home to many exciting concerts at the Riverfest Amphitheatre.

The following 17 pavilions are available throughout the Little Rock Park system. They may be rented for half days or full days. For information on rental rates or for reservations, call 371-4770.

Community Centers Available for Rental

All six of our Community Centers are available for rental. Please note the following regulations:

	A deposit is due upon making verbal rental reservations. Final payment for rentals must be paid in full a minimum of seven (7) days prior to the date reserved or the reservation will be canceled.
	Deposits are non-refundable if canceled.
	Reservations will not extend beyond midnight.
	A special setup fee will be charged if the use of Center equipment is required. The Parks and Recreation Department will handle use of the kitchen and catering; prior arrangements are necessary.
	Individuals/groups will be charged for any damage to the facility (normal wear and tear excepted) and for any missing items. Damage to the facility must be refunded in dollar amount to the City of Little Rock Parks and Recreation Department.
	A staff person must be on duty during all special events. The staff will open the Center for public use during programmed hours and as arranged (30 minutes prior to reservations) for after-hours use.
	The Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to require security for evening and night activities. Payment for security will be the responsibility of the person making the reservation.
	The Centers are all "No Smoking" facilities.
