RAPE: 2001-79,217

In May of 2001, a female was walking on Baseline Road headed to Wal-Mart when a subject in a blue van pulled up beside her. The occupant of the van exited the vehicle and forced her in side. He then took her to a church parking lot off of I-30 and sexually assaulted her. The suspect then took the victim back to the Wal-Mart parking lot and pushed her out. The suspect told the victim not to tell anyone or he would come back and kill her. The victim was afraid and remained silent until for several weeks before she told her mother. The suspect is described as follows:

White Male, 45 to 50 years old, 5/7", heavyset build, short gray hair, and blue eyes.
He was wearing a gold loop earring in his left ear and a diamond dollar sign necklace.
The suspect has tattoos of roses on each side of his neck, an eagle on his right forearm, a naked lady on his left forearm, a cross on his left ankle, and a daisy on his right ankle.
He was driving a beat up light blue van with tinted windows. The van was missing a back window; the back left taillight, and the right rear-view mirror. The windshield was also cracked.

Hopefully someone will know who this person is by the detailed description provided by the victim. Anyone having information should contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 371-INFO. The information may be worth up to $1000.
