ROBBERY UPDATE
For the last several months, business robberies have been occurring in every part of the city. During these robberies the suspects have become more and more violent. On March 28, 2001, Crime Stoppers featured a robbery of the Cantrell Road Package Liquor Store. A black male entered the store and robbed the clerk. During the robbery, the suspect assaulted the clerk with a weapon. The Dominos Pizza in west Little Rock was robbed and the clerk was assaulted by the robbers with a shotgun and injured severely. Robbery Detectives have been working night and day to solve these crimes.
Detectives began tracking these robberies and learned that as the robbers went on their crime spree, they would strike three or four businesses in a section of the city. The robbers hit four businesses near Otter Creek. They then moved to the Rodney Parham area and robbed three businesses there. The following is a partial list of businesses robbed by these suspects.

Detectives have made one arrest in these cases. Marcus Rowe B/M 12-26-1978 has been arrested and charged with several of these robberies. Detectives know that there are two other suspects in these robberies. Detectives are seeking Walter Jones B/M 12-7-1982 for questioning in these cases. Jones has a Felony Probation warrant on file for his arrest. Detectives need to know where Jones is in order to make an arrest. The third suspect is unknown at this time. Detectives need help in identifying this subject. Thanks to very excellent work by the robbery detectives, this crime spree is coming to an end before someone is killed.
