Homicide On September 8, 2002 officers responded to a shooting at 612 E. Roosevelt Road. When officers arrived they found Mr. Michael Floyd lying on the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. Witness told officers they observed a black male armed with a shotgun approach the victim and attempted to take the victim's car. Mr. Floyd attempted to pull the suspect out of his car and during the struggle he was shot once. The suspect and a possible second suspect drove away. Police are now looking for Nicholas Davis to question him about this incident. Nicholas Davis is described as a black male, 5'8" - 5'10", dob 6-2-81. He also has warrants for capital murder, aggravated robbery, and theft of property.
