Criminal Mischief Alert Centers
In June 1992 The Little Rock Police Department implemented the Neighborhood Alert Centers program. The Alert Centers were developed to foster a working relationship with neighbors for overall safety and crime reduction. These centers provide residents in the target areas with the opportunity to get to know a Police Officer, Code Enforcement Officer and a Neighborhood Facilitator and for theses officers to become aware of the neighborhood issues. Recently one Alert Center has become a target itself. The Valley Drive Alert Center, located 5621 Valley Dr. has been the victim of several acts of Criminal Mischief. Several vehicles have been vandalized during the night. This vandalism has cost the city several hundred dollars in repairs for broken windows and mirrors. Anyone with information about a crime is asked to call 371-INFO. Your information could be worth up to $1000.00
