What’s in your car? Could it be enticing to someone? Breaking and Entering into automobiles is not a new crime but it is becoming a nuisance. Not only is your car damaged but you have to replace the items that were taken. In any event it can be very expensive. In Little Rock for the month of February 2002 there were approximately 221 thefts from automobiles. Most B & E’s are crimes of opportunity and occur in areas where the owner of the automobile is assumed to be away from his car for a while. Example are malls, sit down restaurants, car lots and poorly lit areas. Anyone with information about these crimes is asked to call Crimestoppers at 371-INFO.
