Rape
Many
times victims of sexual assaults do not report the crime committed
against them out of shame. Those
who specialize in rape recovery tell us that rape has little to do with
sex and more to do with power. On
January 23d of this year a young lady was awaken by a stranger who
covered her head and carried her to another room. The suspect then ordered the victim to perform oral sex on him.
After the sex act the suspect ordered the victim to stay in the
room where she remained until she felt safe to come out. The victim later noticed that her purse was missing. Later that same day someone attempted to use the victim’s ATM
card at an area bank. The
suspect is described as a black male 25-30 years of age, 5’8” and
175lbs. Anyone
with information about this crime is asked to call Crimestoppers at
371-INFO.Your information
may be worth up to $1000.00.Det.
