JOB TITLE:  Parks Maintenance Worker (Golf Clubhouse)

JOB OBJECTIVE:  To provide custodial and grounds maintenance services for a golf clubhouse.

 

ACCOUNTABILITY:  Receives immediate supervision from the Pro Manager - Golf.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

1.         Operates lawnmowers, weed eaters, and hand tools to cut grass, trim shrubs, remove weeds and rake leaves around the golf clubhouse and parking lot.

 

2.         Picks up litter and other debris around the clubhouse and parking lot.

 

3.         Empties trash containers outside the Pro Shop area.

 

4.         Performs maintenance duties such as replacing light bulbs, air conditioner filters and repairing tables; notifies the supervisor of major repairs needed.

 

SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

1.         Checks levels of fuel, oil and other fluids before operating equipment.

 

2.         Mixes and applies fertilizer and other chemicals to grass and shrubs.

 

3.         Sets up and dismantles meeting rooms for rental activities and departmental meetings.

 

4.         Notifies the supervisor of custodial supplies needed.

 

5.         Performs other related duties as required.
